Phipps Conservatory and surrounding area. Okay pause, so when I say Phipps Conservatory, I really mean the surrounding area. Within walking distance from the main entrance are cobblestone walkways, arched bridges, stone bridges and beautiful trees and flowers.
Cathedral of learning, here is the good news, CATHY as the university of Pittsburgh student’s call it, is literally right by the first location I mentioned. This is an incredible, castle looking academic building. It is incredible.
Hartwood Acres - Hartwood acres is this beautiful cottage/castle event space. It also has a wide variety of modern sculpture all over the grounds. The other thing that makes it so beautiful is that it is elevated, so the sun stays, illuminating the area longer.

Carnegie of Homestead - If your Highschool senior is at all inclined to music or the arts this is the location. It is an absolutely incredible theater space. Red curtains, red velvet seats and beautiful incredible lighting.
